MX Taco (Facebook | Website) is getting a new mural this weekend.
Women-run artist duo, Painted Tusk (Instagram | Website), were commissioned to paint the mural on the side of the restaurant, facing the outdoor patio area. The design features a take on Pride Rock from Disney’s The Lion King but in the place of Rafiki you’ll find an armadillo alebrije from Oaxaca holding up a taco instead of Simba. In place of the African savannah, you’ll see Teotihuacan, Mexico.
