An official grand opening has been set for Friday, March 12 at 10 a.m. for the new Jacqueline Bradley and Clarence Otis Family Branch Boys and Girls Club at 700 S. Lakeland Avenue [GMap].

The new 30,000 SF facility is the 36th registered Boys and Girls Club facility in Central Florida and is the largest in the region and is expected to serve more than 250 children between the ages of 6 and 18 every day.

The club is designed to serve as a community hub associated with Orange Center Elementary School, an early childhood learning center, and a wellness hub for neighborhoods surrounding Camping World Stadium and is designed to separate active areas between the younger children on the first floor, and the teens upstairs.

Other program areas include a dance/aerobic studio, a commercial kitchen, music rooms, art studios, technology labs on both floors, and a full-size gymnasium with a stage for performances.
