UPDATE: Tickets can now be purchased by clicking HERE.

Bungalower Media is teaming up with our friends at Motion Flix (Instagram | Website) to host an outdoor movie screening of cult classic Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle on Friday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. with our new pals at the actual White Castle.

Attendees will be treated to exclusive tastings of some yummy Crave sliders from the White Castle Crave Mobile, which is in town for a limited time, ahead of the soon-to-open Orlando location near Walt Disney World.

This is a big deal, as the truck will only make a few stops in the region before moving on down the road. The planned opening of the downtown White Castle virtual kitchen was put on hold until the new restaurant opens later this spring due to overwhelming demand that made it almost impossible to keep up with online orders – so this may be your only chance to grab a slider before the opening.

A portion of the ticket sales from our event will be donated to our friends at Enzian Theater (Website), Orlando’s only indie cinema, to help keep them open during the COVID-19 pandemic and a bar will be provided by our friends at Will’s Pub.

We will feature two showings of the movie at 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., with the second late-night showing being for VIP tickets only – sold in increments of two. VIP ticket holders will be treated to 10 Crave samples, versus a smaller tasting/sampling size in the earlier viewing. VIP tickets will include wireless “Silent Disco” headphones provided by Motion Flix for the ultimate surround sound experience.

If we are rained out or experience adverse weather conditions, the rain date for this event is the following day, Saturday, March 20.

Tickets will go on sale early next week and we are releasing them to our Bungalower Buddy Members first. We expect this event to sell out fast, just like our sell-out drive-in movie series, so the only way to increase your chances is to make a donation to our newsroom via THIS LINK and join the Buddy program – if you make your donation over $20 you will receive one of our Buy Local-ish Bungalower Buddy Keychains which unlock deals at participating businesses around town.

This is the second event in our “Carlotta’s Culture Park” pop-up series at the former Imperial Sales and Leasing lot located at 1000 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the heart of the Mills 50 Main Street District – which is where we recently hosted a sold-out wrestling event with Mayhem on Mills.

Our next scheduled events include a dinner and a movie screening on March 26 and an outdoor brunch concert with Southern Fried Sundays (Facebook | Instagram) on March 28 – both powered by Ford Motor Company (Instagram) and your local Ford dealers. More information on those events will be released very soon so mark your calendars.
