The Orlando Regional Realtor Foundation, a charitable arm of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, just gave a $50,000 donation to help fund some much-needed renovations at the Parramore Community Garden and they want everyone to know about it.

The Parramore Community Garden is volunteer-run and is located at 654 West Robinson Street [GMap] and the donation funded a new greenhouse and storage shed, a new irrigation system, and new concrete paver garden plots.

The community garden was started over 10 years ago in a vacant lot that nearby community members worked into transforming into a neighborhood asset rather than a trash yard.

  1. The Parramore Community Garden embodies the spirit of the neighborhood and is a great example of the community garden program in Orlando.
