Bungalower Media and Motion Flix (Instagram | Website) are hosting another outdoor movie date night, fresh on the heels of our recent screening of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze,” and this time we’re trading in fighting amphibians for nuns with attitude, on Friday, April 9 at 8 p.m.
This screening was made possible with the generous support of our friends at Ford Motor Company and your local Ford dealers.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 8 p.m., or when it’s dark enough to see the screen. Tickets are $15 for General Admission to the event, which entitles you to a box of popcorn and a safe spot to put your own pop-up chair – to encourage social distancing.
VIP tickets are available for $35 per person and will include access for one person, a spot for your chair – tables are not guaranteed – a pair of wireless “Silent Disco” headphones, and one (1) meal from our partner food vendor Jimmy Hula’s – your choice of either two tacos with chips or a burger with fries.
A limited number of wireless “Silent Disco” headphones are also available for rental on-site for just $10 a pair. Headphones are recommended to help block out all the fun ambient noise from the Mills 50 District.
Tables are first-come, first-served, so chairs are recommended in case you can’t find a space when you arrive. We simply don’t have enough tables to hold them all for you but we have plenty of bleacher seating available on-site.
A bar will be provided by our friends at Will’s Pub.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Enzian Theater (Website), Orlando’s only indie cinema, to help them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Masks are required when not eating or drinking and when you are not seated during the movie.
If we are rained out or experience adverse weather conditions, the rain date for this event is the following day, Saturday, April 3. Same times and rules apply. We encourage you to keep the date open just in case, but we will refund any tickets if requested. But hopefully, we won’t need to!

TICKETS GO ON SALE TO THE PUBLIC AT 8 A.M. THURSDAY, APRIL 1.
The screening will take place at our pop-up event space, Carlotta’s Culture Park, located at 1000 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the heart of the Mills 50 Main Street District. The next event scheduled for Carlotta’s is Southern Fried Sunday on Sunday, April 11.
