The City of Orlando is offering free trees to residents as part of their Energy-Saving Trees program, supported by the Orlando Utilities Commission, Florida Forest Service, and Arbor Day Foundation.

Residents are able to get one of the following trees for their yards:

  • Crapemyrtle “Natchez”
  • Dahoon Holly
  • Sweetbay Magnolia
  • Tulip Poplar

By strategically adding three to four mature shade trees to your yard, you can save up to 30 percent on your summer cooling costs.

Click HERE for more information and to see if you’re eligible for a free tree.
