“We started The Farmacy wanting to support local farmers and reach as many people as we could with locally and sustainably grown produce. As our business grew, it seemed like a perfect fit to build this partnership with 4Roots since our missions lined up so well,”

– CATHY CLAY, THE FARMACY

4Roots, the new nonprofit food system initiative launched by John Rivers, is teaming up with the folks of The Farmacy to launch an expanded online grocery service that supports local farmers.

The Farmacy was founded by Robby and Cathy Clay in 2014 and was originally established as a grocery retail shop that slowly evolved to online sales focusing on fresh local organic produce and specialty items. They sell seasonal non-GMO produce that is sourced from local farms and grown using clean growing practices, in addition to meats, dairy products, eggs, and more.

4Roots has since teamed up with the couple after looking for ways to support local farmers and make local fresh produce more readily available.

“I applaud Robby and Cathy Clay for being trailblazers in providing local produce to our community. We are proud to welcome The Farmacy as the newest member of the 4Roots family of companies and look forward to building on their successes as we seek new and creative ways to provide even broader access to fresh, healthy food in Central Florida,”
