FlixBus (Facebook | Website) just announced that it will be launching in Florida with one of the first routes being from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando with stops in Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, Lakeland, and Miami.

Ticket prices will start as low as $7.99 and buses will run, specifically on the Fort Lauderdale route, for five days a week with various departure and arrival times.

FlixBus buses have free WiFi, power outlets at every seat, carbon-neutral ticketing options, extra legroom, and you can even bring your bike with you.

There are four Orlando bus stops including the Orlando International Airport, Sand Lake Road, Kissimmee, and International Drive and the Orlando International Premium Outlets.

  1. Very messy schedule and price! My husband and I used your service from Fort Myers to Fort Lauderdale last week and we were very happy about the trip I even wrote a excellent review. Now I wish I can take it back. We are very disappointed. Try to buy tickets again and and realized it is a big mess!
Price, schedule, duration of the trip is very inconsistent! Don’t know if I will use this service again.

  2. “the first routes being from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando with stops in Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, Lakeland, and Miami.” – seems a bit circuitous.
