We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.
Suspiciously handsome Orlando TikToker, Eddie Scherder (@eddiescherder), posted a super random moment where he was trying to get to his car in what appears to be the SunTrust Garage in downtown Winter Park, only to find his way impeded by a random choir and orchestra.
The group in question is undoubtedly the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park (Facebook | Website) and while it appears as if they’ve chosen the garage for pop-up rehearsals due to social distancing protocols, the acoustics certainly help too.
The Bach Festival Society’s next scheduled event is American Folksongs and Spirituals conducted by John V. Sinclair on Saturday, May 1 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Click HERE for tickets.
