The Places Where We Live is a three-part Hulu series featuring a series of short films inspired by real people, places, and events across the country. Hulu describes the series as “modern folklore about everyday situations and the things we take for granted.”

“Boat Tour,” penned by Bernardo Britto, is one of the episodes in the series and it shines a light on a boat tour operator who always tells the same jokes day in and day out and a lonely woman who works from home and watches him every day as he pulls through the Venetian Canal.

It’s a must-watch.

The short film was also highlighted in the 2020 Florida Film Festival.
