Orange County Animal Services (Facebook | Website) is currently caring for nearly 300 animals after assisting with the seizure of a number of animals from substandard conditions.

OCAS runs the county’s only open-admission pet shelter, which means they never turn away an animal, and they are currently looking to rehome 175 dogs and 124 cats. Many of the dogs have already been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making them eligible for immediate adoption.

During the month of May, adoption fees for dogs and cats that are ready for immediate adoption have been reduced to $10.
