Bungalower Media and Motion Flix (Instagram | Website) are hosting another outdoor movie date night with a screening of the cult classic “The Bodyguard” on Friday, May 21 at  Carlotta’s Culture Park, located at 1000 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the heart of the Mills 50 Main Street District.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 8 p.m., or when it’s dark enough to see the screen.

Tickets are $10 for General Admission to the event. Which entitles you to a box of popcorn and a safe spot to put your own pop-up chair – to encourage social distancing.

VIP tickets are available for $30 per person and will include access for one person, a spot for your chair – tables are not guaranteed – a pair of wireless “Silent Disco” headphones, and one (1) meal from our partner food vendors at Tako Cheena and Pop’s Pizzeria – your choice of Thai Tofu or Korean Beef taco trays or a Veggie or Meat pizza.

  • Thai Peanut Chicken Tray (two tacos) with mixed cabbage, cilantro, scallion, and crushed peanuts and sides
  • Korean Beef Tray (two tacos) with mixed cabbage, sesame seeds, cilantro, and kimchi slaw and sides
  • Meat Lovers Pizza – salsa crudo, fresh mozzarella, applewood bacon, beef pepperoni, ‘roni cups, hand-sliced meatballs, and sausage.
  • Vegetariano Pizza – fresh mozzarella, dollops of ricotta, fresh spinach, hand-sliced mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, roasted red pepper, and sliced red onion.

A limited number of wireless “Silent Disco” headphones are also available for rental on-site for just $10 a pair for people with General Admission tickets as headphones are recommended to help block out all the fun ambient noise from the Mills 50 District.

Bungalower Buddy Keyholders will have free access to all of our Movies on Mills screenings by showing their keychains at the gate or by using a special code in advance, provided in their Buddy e-mail.

A full bar will be available, courtesy of our friends at Will’s Pub!

Tables are first-come, first-served, so chairs are recommended in case you can’t find a space when you arrive. Bleacher seating is also available on-site.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Enzian Theater, Orlando’s only indie cinema, to help them during the COVID-19 pandemic. If we are rained out or experience adverse weather conditions, the rain date for this event is the following day, Saturday, May 22. We encourage you to keep the date open just in case, but we will refund any tickets if requested.
