Following a taping of “Bungalower and The Bus” at the newly-opened The Axe Trap (Facebook | Website), we were asked by the owners to come back and throw a little party with some of our favorite Central Florida influencers and media people.
So we did.
The Axe Trap was founded by Winter Park residents and vascular surgeons, Manny Perez and David Varnagy, who were inspired by visiting their first axe-throwing venue a few years ago, but wanted to turn it up a notch. The venue can accommodate private parties and corporate events and also has a 1,200 SF outdoor deck that can be rented as well.
New guests can get hands-on lessons on how to property, and safely, throw the axes by resident professionals and instructors.
The Axe Trap is open 4-10 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday, and Remedy is open 4-11 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 4-midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 2-9 p.m. on Sunday.
