The City of Orlando is looking to replace the existing docks at Lake Underhill Park in East Orlando.

The work will likely be paid for through the Florida Boating Improvement Program, which is a state financial assistance program run by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The Families, Parks, and Recreation Department have applied for an estimated $75,000 grant through the program to carry out the initial design, engineering, and permitting work on the project.

According to the City of Orlando, the existing docks at Lake Underhill Park due to improver heights and connections between the parking facilities and boat ramps, making it difficult for some users.

An estimated timeline for the project was not known at the time of this post.
