The 808 Restaurant (Facebook) is scheduled to open 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 23.
The new Hawaiian-inspired concept has taken over the former Dexter’s location at 808 E. Washington Street [GMap] in Thornton Park, and is being helmed by Thornton Park royalty Wendy Connor from The Abbey (Facebook | Website), and Todd Ulmer of Stardust Lounge (Facebook | Website) and Aku Aku Tiki Lounge (Facebook | Website).
Named after the address and the area code for Honolulu, The 808 will feature a “laid-back retro surf vibe with Hawaiian-inspired delicacies suitable for all palettes” including dishes like spam musubi
