The City of Orlando is looking to hire a new Communications and Events Coordinator to help plan and city events, including budgeting and managing sponsorships/partnerships and vendor agreements.
The primary duties of this position are to market and promote the Mayor’s signature and special events, city initiatives and services, and writing articles for the city’s website and press releases. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Communications Manager.
Interested applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, journalism, or other related fields, and have four years of marketing and event management experience, preferably in the general public realm.
The salary range is $47,340-$60,361 a year.
