Orlando Magic’s president of “Baseketball Operations,” Jeff Weltman, has just announced that Jamahl Mosley has been named the new head coach of the team.

Mosley, who is now the 15th head coach of the team in franchise history, comes to Orlando after seven seasons as assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks, who have reached the NBA Playoffs four times while he was there. Mosley also served as the head coach of the Mavericks’ summer league team. Read more about his history HERE.

Previous coach, Steve Clifford, made headlines this year when he announced that he would not be continuing on with the team after just three seasons.
