Bros With Hoes Plant Co. (Facebook | Website) started as a trailer full of plants that hosted pop-ups around the Orlando area and have fast become one of the trendiest startups in the region, and they’ll be opening their own shop this fall in College Park.

The Jungle Room by BWH (Website) will be opening in the retail strip at 2322 Edgewater Drive [GMap] just south of Albert Park and across the street from Graffiti Junktion, with a mission to help people create their own indoor gardens and “jungalows.” They plan to host community-focused events, workshops that share how to paint your own pots and build terrariums, totem pole building, and more. The shop will also include a propagation wall where guests can take and leave different types of plant cuttings from their private collections, free of charge. Simply bring a cutting from home and swap it for a plant you don’t have.

The shop will also have a Kid Gardener section with fun activities for the littles, as the owners are young parents themselves. The family-run business will be moving out of its current shop that it shares with Freehand Goods in the Hourglass District as they’ve outgrown the space but Freehand will simply take that half of the shop over again and fill it with their own merch as they’ve been expanding their offerings.

Other new tenants in the retail center include Darling Authority and Todd Bennett Interior Design.

The shop currently has a tentative opening date set for labor day weekend.
