The nuns and friends over at Hope CommUnity Center in Apopka are hiring a new Director of Advocacy and Community Organizing.

The Hope CommUnity Center (Website) is a grassroots advocacy organization that works to empower the immigrant and working poor communities in Central Florida and they need a passionate, dedicated champion to lead their team.

Applicants must be familiar with local civic, social justice, and political landscapes and have knowledge of the laws and policies affecting immigrants in Florida. They must be able to work with under-resourced communities, be passionate about social justice, be comfortable with public speaking, and be bilingual.
