The owners of Finnhenry’s Public House in downtown Orlando have announced on Facebook this past Sunday that they would be closing up shop over the weekend citing a difficult business climate in the Central Business District.

The popular Irish pub, located at 37 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] in the downtown core, has been in business since 2008. According to an earlier report by Jack Witthaus at Orlando Business Journal, the property was recently purchased by Novel CoWorking LLC who filed a complaint with the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in May for unpaid rent.

The owners’ other popular venues, Ollie’s in College Park and Vanbarry’s near Belle Isle, will continue to operate.
