Kevin Young of Eden Bar is allegedly opening a new sports club concept in the former home of Finnhenry’s in downtown Orlando, as first reported by Jack Witthaus of Orlando Business Journal.
Finnhenry’s, located at 37 N. Orange Avenue [GMap], closed last weekend citing a difficult business climate in the downtown core as the cause but the space didn’t even have a chance to sit vacant before getting snatched up by Young and a cohort of friends under the banner of Orange Avenue Concepts, LLC.
The new concept, currently under the name “Parlay,” will allegedly be a new sports bar/nightclub with a cocktail menu named after local sportsmen. The word parlay refers to a type of wager where multiple bets are added together in order to reap a larger payout, but we’re not saying it doesn’t refer to something a pirate would say either.
A timeline for the new project is not public at this time.
