We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

“Hey, Brendan! Did you see that Coco had closed?”

– BUNGALOWER READER

Coco Bar and Tapas (Facebook) has closed, according to its recent social media channels.

The Mexican-inspired restaurant, located on the bottom floor of the Sanctuary Condominium building at 100 S. Eola Drive [GMap] near Lake Eola Park, opened in early 2019.

According to their social media and a note that was taped to the front door of the restaurant, Coco Bar and Tapas will be “… closed until further notice.” A reason behind the closure was not given and neither was a timeline for a possible reopening.
