Smokey Smoke Shop (Facebook) has moved into the storefront that was formerly occupied by Martin “Leigh Shannon” Fugate’s Ritzy Rags Wigs and More (Facebook | Website) and next door, a new bar concept is currently in the works at 930 N. Mills Avenue [GMap].
Note: Fugate is currently a candidate for Orlando City Commissioner, District 3, against long-time seat filler Robert F. Stuart and Nicolette Springer.
The new bar concept, which was previously occupied by popular vintage shop Retromended, is expected to be renovated to the tune of $100,000 according to a report by Jack Witthaus of Orlando Business Journal.
We’ve reached out to the building owner for more information on the bar concept and will share more information once we have it.
There is also another contender in the race who has just qualified for the ballot.
