AdventHealth Central Florida has announced a return to normal operations following a marked downward slope this week in hospitalized COVID-19-positive patients.
The number of patients in AdventHealth care is currently sitting at roughly 850 people, so the hospital system has transitioned to normal operations or “Green Status.”

The positivity rate for virus tests at Centra Care, the system’s urgent care clinic chain, dropped to 12.5 percent this week, which is half the number they were seeing six weeks ago.
Dr. Finkler also states that AdventHealth is seeing an increased demand for the vaccine as a direct result to the Delta surge and more people experiencing the illness themselves or the death of a loved one.
