The Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens (Facebook Website) will host the thirteenth annual Winter Park Paint Out from October 10 to 16, 2021, when the gallery and sculpture gardens will be free to the public during the week-long event, which will coincide with the Polasek Museum’s 60th-anniversary celebration.

Now in its 13th year, the Winter Park Paint Out is a distinguished weeklong festival that invites 25 artists to paint “en plein air,” just like the 19th century French Impressionists. Audiences can watch the artists in action at the Polasek Museum and locations nearby as they create more than 200 paintings that become part of a pop-up exhibition and flash sale at the end of the week. Artwork created during the Winter Park Paint Out will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to support the museum.

For the Polasek Museum’s 60th anniversary year, the Winter Park Paint Out will end with a Great Gatsby Garden Gala on October 16, 2021, from 6-9 p.m. Costumes are welcome and encouraged. View and purchase artwork while enjoying excellent food and live entertainment in a 1920’s setting. Purchase tickets HERE.

The thirteenth annual Winter Park Paint Out is supported by: the Grafton Family; Fannie Hillman & Associates; the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation; The Mayflower; Fifth Third Bank; Holler Hyundai; PNC Bank; Lowndes; Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A.; Orlando Health; Seacoast Bank; DeCiccio & Johnson; Brandywine Square; Greater Orlando Sports Commission; Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs; the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs; the City of Winter Park; and United Arts of Central Florida.
