SoDo Main Street has hired a new director

The SoDo Main Street’s Board of Directors has just announced the hiring of a new Executive Director and we’re happy to say that they chose Misty Heath, our very own Strategic Partnerships Director here at Bungalower Media.

The current Executive Director, Linnette Boldig, has been with the district for over four years and will be retiring at the end of the year. Heath is expected to take the reigns in November, with an official “Coming Out” party taking place at this year’s Light Up SoDo event on Sunday, December 5 from 2-6 p.m. at the SoDo Plaza.

Heath comes to the role with a degree in English Literature from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. She has experience as an administrator at the University of Texas and in the financial services industry.

Misty is the second Bungalower employee to serve as Executive Director for the SoDo Main Street, following in the footsteps of Sarah Elbadri, who was with our team in the early years of the company.

We are currently interviewing applicants for Misty’s role at Bungalower Media.
