The City of Orlando is hiring for a part-time position in the Communications and Neighborhood Relations department to serve as an Assistant Event Coordinator for upcoming signature events like the annual Christmas Tree lighting, the Veteran’s Day Parade, and Fireworks at the Fountain.

Primary duties include planning, logistics, and execution of City events including ribbon cuttings, groundbreaking, press events, and special events like those mentioned above. The Assistant Event Coordinator would also work with the marketing and promotion of citywide and Mayor’s signature events, writing media alerts, website copy, and more.

Starting salary is $16 an hour.
