Foxtail’s long-awaited Milkhouse (Instagram | Website) project is now in a soft-open phase in the former home of Beer and Tobacco Outlet, at 201 N. Bumby Avenue [GMap] in the Milk District.

The new bar/eatery/ice cream hall/coffee shop is home to a number of local brands like Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream (Facebook Website), Bagel Bruno (Facebook Website), Ravenous Pig Brewing Co. (Facebook Website), and a new Italian tapas concept by Bruno Zacchini called Cicchetti Bruno (Instagram).

But now we want Bruno to open a library so we can yell this all the time.

Guests can order at the bar and have items from all vendors brought to them or go and visit the ice cream counter themselves to see all of the flavors in person. Or to try a couple of samples. Click HERE for the menus.

Current posted hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday, and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday.

  1. We went Saturday and were blown away this place is AWESOME! We had already eaten but we are DEFINITELY going back and getting food next time and perhaps ice cream for dessert or Ricotta cheesecake yes Ricotta I’m amazed. The place is BEAUTIFULLY decorated it has a great “feel” to it.

  2. Their menu is very confusing. At most restaurants, they have all the salads listed together, all the soups listed together, etc. This menu is listed by who makes it. So if you are looking for a certain type of food, let’s say a sandwich, you have to know who makes the sandwich.
Oh well, there are plenty of good restaurants in this area that make it easy to find what you are looking for.
