London-based author, “dream guide,” and death doula, Tree Carr (Website), will host a special workshop in downtown Orlando on Tuesday, November 2, dealing with the consummately human journeys of death, loss, and grief.

A death doula is someone who specializes in helping to guide people spiritually and emotionally at the end of their lives in a peaceful and compassionate way.

According to information posted online, the event will provide a safe space to guide attendees through “… compassionate approaches to bereavement.”

Many of us are experiencing loss first hand and all of us are feeling the collective grief and loss on a societal level. On top of it all, many of us are feeling isolated at home during our bereavement without a sense of closure, community, or spiritual support.

The workshop will focus on sacred rituals to honor your ancestors, share healing meditations for closure and healing, and look at the historic process of cathartic grief and coping with the loss of a loved one.

The event is free and you can click HERE to RSVP.
