Orlando Sings (Facebook | Website) is a new arts organization that features two professional ensembles; the Orlando Sings Symphonic Chorus and the new Solaria Singers.

The organization is launching its full season of concerts on November 18 with “Joyful Beginnings,” featuring brass and percussion from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and organist Michael Ging. The program will include “Gloria” by John Rutter, and the southeastern premiere of “Seven Joys” by Pulitzer Prize-winner Caroline Shaw.

The inaugural concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 18, at First United Methodist Church of Orlando, which is located at 142 E. Jackson Street [GMap] in downtown Orlando.
