We told you HERE that OUC had selected commercial real estate firm, Bishop Beale Duncan, to handle the sale of its historic Ivanhoe Building power plant and the listing has finally hit the market.

The 60,000 SF historic Ivanhoe Building is located at 1111 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] and once served as the city’s first municipal source of energy and water and was designated as a historic landmark in 1987.

Bishop Beale Duncan has listed the property HERE on its own website, and given it a new name, “The Current.” While valued at roughly $6 million, the price of the property is currently unlisted, and they are entertaining all offers at the moment.

Interested buyers can use the link provided above to contact Bishop Beale Duncan for more information or to arrange a tour.

OUC told us in June 2021 that they were looking to sell the property to use any possible funds to put towards the utility company’s current clean energy initiatives.
