Sammi-slinging bar and restaurant, The Gnarly Barley (Website | Instagram), has announced that its new Ivanhoe Village location at 1407 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] will open, ever so softly, on December 1.

The move from Gnarly Barley’s founding location in Belle Isle was first announced back in March.  “We’ve outgrown our space 3 times over,” the restaurant wrote in an Instagram post explaining the move,  “and milked every ounce of energy our little shack on South Orange Avenue has had to give.”

Since then, the Gnarley team has provided regular updates on their new 3,700+ SF space , which was most recently occupied by Stir Restaurant and Bar, and has housed a revolving door of concepts over the last several years.

The new location boasts an expanded menu of bar bites and a capacious dining area for those seeking a more casual (and significantly cheaper) alternative to the recently opened The Hall on the Yard.
