The SoDo District (Facebook | Instagram | Website) is ringing in the holidays this year with the return of its annual Light Up Sodo event on Sunday, December 5, sponsored by Orlando Health.
The family and pet-friendly event will run from 2-6 p.m. at the SoDo Shopping Plaza at 120 W. Grant Street [GMap] in the heart of the SoDo District and will feature plenty of fun activities like face painting, writing letters to Santa, stilt walkers, train rides, princesses, bounce houses, live performances, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The crew from 103.1 FM The Wolf will also be broadcasting live from the event.
Food will be available for purchase from local restaurant partners including Flippers Pizzeria, Bao’s Castle, and Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream.
This year, the district is asking for a $5 donation upon entry to support their Main Street efforts and they are asking attendees to RSVP HERE ahead of the event.
