The City of Orlando’s Green Works department wants to give you a free tree.
It’s not really something you can put a present under for the holidays, but you can still get two free trees from the City of Orlando by clicking HERE and entering your home address. The website lets you choose the type of tree you want (from what’s available), place it in the optimum spot in your yard to maximize future energy savings when it grows big and tall and shades your house, and then they’ll deliver the trees to your home.
Easy.
You must live within city limits to qualify.
Types of trees remaining include dahoon holly, live oak, and bald cypress.
