The next scheduled Popcorn Flicks in the Park feature, presented by Enzian Theater, will feature a special screening of Disney’s epic adventure film, “Flight of the Navigator.”

The 1978 1986 film tells the story of 12-year-old David (played by the bank-robbing Joey Cramer) who lives in Fort Lauderdale with his family. One day while playing in the forest he’s knocked unconscious only to wake up and find that eight years have gone by and he has a weird connection to a nearby UFO that’s being studied by NASA (and voiced by Paul Reubens). Hilarity and hijinx ensue.

The film screening is free to attend and will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 13 in Winter Park’s Central Park.

  1. To be pedantic, It’s a 1986 movie, not 1978 =) (used to work for the director and the vfx supervisor that made this movie, though I didn’t work on this one)
