The Holy Land Experience (Facebook Website), which hosted a random day for free admission in April to qualify for its free tax loophole before closing for good, was purchased by AdventHealth in August 2021.

The previous owners of the Christian-inspired theme park, the Crouch family of Trinity Broadcast Network, held an auction/estate sale in mid-2016 which featured everything from props used in the theatrical shows to random life-sized disco ball horse sculptures. Here’s hoping they hold one last sale before it’s bulldozed though for a new health campus.

According to plans they’ve submitted to the City of Orlando, AdventHealth is hoping to build a two-phase project with a new four-story medical office and a five-story hospital. Plans also call for a helipad and a 20,000 SF emergency room.

Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer associated with the project.
