Charly Robinson’s F&D Cantina (Facebook | Website) is finally set to open in the Thornton Park Main Street “sometime during the week of January 16.”
The new Mexican restaurant has taken over the former Jax Thornton Park at 617 E. Central Boulevard [GMap]. Jax opened in the former City Fish space in September 2017 and specialized in sandwiches, cold beer, and free pickles.
We first told you about the restaurant HERE in 2020 when it was expected to open in the second quarter of 2021 but we’re willing to bet that the pandemic held things up a bit.
