Have something to say? Type it below. Holding back can give you pimples.

  1. That statue called Bastet IS an insult to the Egyptian Goddess Bastet!

If it had been on par with, or at least, more to the real description of the Goddess that is the protector and Goddess of all cats, then I’d have had a different attitude toward it.

To me, that statue is not only, NOT even close to representing Bastet. Who, in all descriptions was a beautiful feminine (female) body with the head of a cat

I find this particular statue named in her sake, revolting and an eyesore. And is one I’d rather NOT see placed in my hometown of Orlando, FL, in which I still live and reside.

Someone wasted a lot of money on this particular statue WITHOUT researching or, possibly NOT knowing who, or what, Bastet is, or was!

Just my opinion mind you, but I really dislike immensely, this particular statue!
