Ava MediterrAegean (Instagram | Facebook) finally has an opening date for its new home on Park Avenue.

The Greek-inspired restaurant has moved into the former home of Luma on Park at 290 S. Park Avenue [GMap] in downtown Winter Park, despite a few legal troubles that delayed construction last year, according to a report by Orlando Weekly and the departure of Top Chef Season 3 winner, Hung Huynh who was supposed to helm the ship.

The restaurant has since signed Chef Keith Bombaugh to be the new executive chef who comes to the position with experience at Mirabelle in Washington, D.C., and three-Michelin-starred Alinea in Chicago.

Ava MediterrAegean is scheduled to open on February 1.
