Conrad’s Shanty (Facebook | Instagram) has sold to the owners of Lizzy McCormack’s Irish Bar (Website) in downtown Orlando.
Conrad’s opened in the former home of BART in Mills 50, located at 1205 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] back in January 2019, under the ownership of the Gnarly Barley team, who operate nearby GB Bottle Shop and the new Gnarly Barley location on Orange Avenue in Ivanhoe Village.
According to a release sent out earlier today, Conrad’s Shanty will re-open under new management this weekend. The release stated that the purchase does not mean that Lizzy McCormack’s will be moving or closing, and in fact, will they will be hosting its 18th Annual Kegs and Breakfast celebration on Thursday, March 17 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
According to a company spokesperson, Mitch Foster, Conrad’s will keep its name but the team has “big plans for the future.”
