The City of Winter Park and the Multifaith Education Project have tamed up for the 19th Annual Trees for Peace Interfaith Tree Planting Project on Tuesday, February 8 at 11:30 a.m.
The event will be hosted in Phelps Park at 1206 N. Phelps Avenue [GMap] and will gather together students from The Geneva School, Jewish Academy of Orlando, and Leaders Preparatory School to plant trees in the effort to promote peace at home and abroad.
The tree planting will be overseen by the City of Winter Park’s Urban Forestry Division.
