Jane of All Trades (Instagram) is a new series of workshops and classes geared to adult women that will cover everything from the basics of using tools, sewing essentials, changing a tire, learning about wine and grocery shopping, and more.
Jane of All Trades is the brainchild of Melissa Palmer, who has a history in environmental science, communications, marketing, and fundraising who came up with the idea for the company while creating a bucket list of things she’d like to learn and do during the pandemic.
The first workshop will take place on February 27th and will feature a tour of Miller’s Hardware Store in Winter Park and will include demonstrations and hands-on lessons on how to build a wooden coffee table tray. Each participant will walk away with their own handmade tray to take home at the end of the class.
