Another new fried chicken restaurant will join the ranks of Fieri’s Chicken Guy, Popeyes, PDQ, and Publix on 17-92 in Winter Park in what locals have affectionately been referring to as the “Chicken Strip,” or the “Cock Block.”
Chick ‘n Cone (Website) is expected to open this month in the former George’s Gourmet Cookies at 501 N. Orlando Avenue [GMap] in the same plaza as Blaze Pizza.
They will be serving up a “fork-free” take on fried chicken by dumping it into specialty waffle cones. The menu also features chicken sandwiches and tenders.

With names like chick’n I was hoping there would be veggie/vegan option, but doesn’t look like that’s the case. Oh well
