Ricky Galicia, the man behind Baldwin Park-based The Wildflower (Facebook), which opened in June 2020, is opening a new concept in downtown Orlando.

The Bellhop (Instagram) is currently being built out in the former Subway storefront on the corner of Wall Street and Orange Avenue at 37 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] on the bottom floor of the historic Angebilt Hotel, and according to Galicia it will be a coffee bar by day and an elevated cocktail lounge by night.

We first reported about the new concept HERE in February 2021, when Interstruct Design + Build (Website) shared that they were working on renovating the space. Renovations of Bellhop are well underway and expected to be complete by the end of March, pending permitting approval.

The Bellhop is currently seeking to hire bartenders, barbacks, and baristas and you can contact them via Instagram for more information.

Just on the other side of the Angebilt lobby, the former Finnhenry’s space is being converted into a fancy new sports bar concept called Parlay, which we first wrote about HERE in August 2021.
