UCF student Jack Sweeney, who made news last month for rejecting a payoff from Elon Musk to stop tracking his private jet, has moved on to tracking Russian oligarchs via his new Twitter page, @RUOligarchJets.

The page posts regular updates of the comings and goings of the Russian-owned jets using publicly accessible flight information and custom-programmed bots to sort that data, which has been publicly accessible since the events of 9/11. The account, which was created on February 25 following the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24 and has already attracted over 300,000 followers. His @PutinJet account, which tracks Russian VIP jets the president may be using, has attracted over 75,000 followers.

The 19-year-old told Huffington Post that despite international sanctions and travel restrictions on Russian planes, the oligarchs seem to be flying on a daily basis – in their massive, oversized aircraft.
