According to an earlier report by Orlando Weekly‘s Faiyaz Kara, Pizza Bruno (Website) is opening a new restaurant in College Park.

The popular restaurant, owned by Bruno Zacchini, will be opening a second location in the former Tin and Taco space at 2429 Edgewater Drive [GMap].

Zacchini told Bungalower in February that he was looking to expand his pizza concept following the dissolution of his relationship with Foxtail Coffee and his concepts at the Milkhouse (Website) and Bagel Bruno.

When questioned about the novelty of opening a pizza restaurant in College Park, Zacchini told Kara the following.

“I know some people will be a little underwhelmed with more pizza in College Park, but I can assure you we will be offering some new things you won’t be able to get at our Curry Ford store.”

An opening timeline had not been shared at the time of this post.

  1. No offense, but Tornatore’s pizza is not at all comparable, nor is any of their other offerings. Pizza Bruno is a welcomed addition!

  2. Underwhelmed is right. Plus, Tornatore’s has the fresh pasta market all locked down. I mean good luck to them, but I was hoping for something a little different in CP.
