The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has reported a visible algae bloom at Lake Man, located near the Gilbert McQueen boat ramp.
Water samples have been taken and while they await results and the official toxin determination, the City of Orlando and the FDEP are advising that residents take extra caution in and around the lake at this time.
That includes all water-contact activities and irrigation uses.
