The City of Winter Park will host its annual Spring Cleanup in May this year, to help residents discard large items that they no longer need.
The annual event provides an extra “bonus” day of pickup for old furniture, broken appliances, and other bulky items. Residents must place the items by the curb after 5 p.m. the evening prior to their assigned pickup day to take advantage of the service. So if you’re looking for some fancy cast-off furniture, this is the time to borrow your friend’s pickup.
- North of Fairbanks/Aloma Avenues – Thursday, May 5, or Friday, May 6
- South of Fairbanks/Aloma Avenues – Thursday, May 12, or Friday, May 13
Household hazardous waste and yard waste are not included in this program but can be brought to the upcoming Hazardous Waste Dropoff event on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m.-noon. More information HERE.
