Longtime downtown New Wave hotspot, Barbarella (Facebook | Website), formerly known as Independent Bar, announced in January of this year that it was calling quits on downtown Orlando and moving “a short 13-minute drive from [their] present location.” But they’d kept the exact address a secret until this weekend.
According to a post on its Facebook late Sunday evening, the nightclub will be moving into an industrial park near The Packing District and Grill’s Lakeside, sandwiched between Orange Blossom Trail and John Young Parkway at 4141 John Young Parkway [GMap].
They expect to reopen in their new warehouse home as early as April 16th.
Barbarella hosted its last night in its former location on Saturday, April 2.
