A new burger restaurant we told you about HERE is set to open by the end of the month in a former laundromat by Will’s Pub at 1030 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the Mills 50 District.

At the time of our post last November, the exact concept moving into the space was yet to be announced but since then, Team Market Group, the owners of the property, have given it a name; “Plantees.”

Plantees (Facebook | Instagram) will be a new 100% plant-based burger and shake restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating available for guests. The concept is led by Chef Nick Grecco, who we’ve featured on the website previously HERE when he was the Culinary Director for Black Bean Deli.

Plantees will feature an attendant to take orders as well as quick service kiosks to the side of the main room if people would like contactless ordering. Everything is served to-go and placed in a service window with orders placed in alphabetical order for guests to pick up on their own when they’re ready. Guests will also be able to order online for quick pickup in the same aforementioned window.

If you click HERE and comment on their Instagram with the word “invite” you’ll be entered to get more information about an exclusive soft-opening event taking place the same week as Earth Day with a public opening to follow soon after.
